I almost got to Little Barrier a few years ago to help with the kakapo programme. I had arranged annual leave, got my fitness levels up and purchased the necessary gear only to be informed 2 weeks before I was due to go that the kakapos had been transferred to Maud island. What a dissapointment! I am most envious of you. Alison
I am self-confessed outdoor junkie. I belong to Women's Outdoor Pursuits with whom I go tramping every two weeks. I also play golf, go to the gym before work and on occasion have taken classes when a gym trainer is away.
